Free to Be Me
I’m 31 and in some ways I feel like I’m getting to know myself for the very first time. There’s a certain reverence for myself and my life, my uniqueness and what I hope to share with the world that I had to grow into. It wasn’t always there and it hasn’t come easy.
Once we stop doing what we think we’re supposed to be doing because somehow we received a message that those things are the ‘right’ things or those things are the pathway to happiness or success, a world of possibility becomes available to us.
Once we start to listen in, follow the longings of the heart, accept the always available guidance, stay where it feels right to stay even though it may be scary, exit when it feels right to exit even though it may be scary, engage in practices of self inquiry, self honor, self care, self love, self support, self upliftment life takes on a different level of delight. We can taste the gift it is to be alive as we experience connection and truly commit to a life of BEING human in this world of human beings.
Resist the urge to live a life prescribed by someone else. You are not intended to be molded. Your spirit cannot be contained. You are meant for greatness. It’s time to soar.
