Parenting

As parents we are provided a tremendous opportunity and responsibility, a privilege and gift - to pave the way in the world for our children. 

From the moment of conception all of our choices influence their lives. This is an ENORMOUS responsibility and one that - when done with grace, humility, honesty, care, commitment and love - helps to change the world one life at a time. Every moment matters. Every word, every ‘yes’, every ‘no’, time together and how we spend it, what they’re eating, what they’re seeing and how we’re stimulating all of their senses. Everything we do begins to shape our children’s worlds and how they will experience THEMSELVES in it as they grow. 

I am infinitely blessed by those who’ve taught me and continue to teach me the ways I wish to parent Ruby. This time together is rich with tenderness, filled with opportunity to create and ripe with love that bursts out of me. I know how precious every moment is and I intend to make each one purposeful.
